After Pippa Middleton’s royal(ish) wedding, she and husband James Matthews jetted off to honeymoon on Tetiaroa, an elite and luxurious island destination just a 20-minute flight from Tahiti. They’ll be celebrating their nuptials for a week in the stunning South Pacific.
Tetiaroa is a dozen islands surrounding an incredible blue lagoon. The villa where the couple is staying is located in the super swanky Brando Resort (of Marlon Brando fame, who once owned the property). With 35 thatched villas (each with an outdoor bath, infinity pool, and rocking chair for two), the resort exercises ecologically sustainable practices such as seawater air-conditioning, solar electricity, and generators that run on coconut oil.
And at £3,000 per night, the Middleton-Matthews may run into other notable personalities on the grounds (sands?). Congratulations to the happy couple!
