Taxis operate 24 hours a day. They aren't metered but rates are fixed by the government. Taxis carry up to three passengers, and the fare may be shared. Sample one-way fares from Grantley Adams International Airport are $30 to Holetown, $42 to Speightstown, $16 to St. Lawrence Gap, and $37 to Bathsheba. From Bridgetown, one-way fares are $22 to Holetown, $30 to Speightstown, $18 to St. Lawrence Gap, and $38 to Bathsheba. Drivers can also be hired for an hourly rate of about $40 for up to three people.
