Surfing

The Big Island is not known for its surf spots, but that doesn't mean that there aren't any, or that there aren't plenty of local surfers. Surf's up in winter, down in summer; the beautiful peaceful beach you went to last summer could be a rough and rowdy surfer beach in the winter.
