There are ample boat excursion companies to take you to great snorkeling spots on the lagoon and for a barbecue on a motu. There's also Jet Skiing, waterskiing, diving, and other underwater adventures, along with parasailing and helicopter rides. The island's green and rugged interior is visited by several safari tours that will include the Belvedere lookout and the nearby marae and a venture to the waterfalls. Most hotels will be able to book excursions and activities and many operators will pick you up at your front door.
