Accessibility

The Silver Muse offers 298 suites, with an ocean view in each of them. Most of the suites also come with private verandas. The 9 suites range from 1,389 square feet in the Owner’s Suite to 400 square feet in the Classic Veranda Suite. All suites are outfitted with Matermoll mattresses, Pratesi sheets, and Bvlgari toiletries. Each suite also features a seating area, a marble bathroom, and a walk-in wardrobe. The bathrooms all contain at least one full bathtub and a separate shower. 110-220 V power outlets and USB outlets ensure adequate outlet coverage. Guests can select their preference of one queen or two twin beds along with their preference of pillow type. All suites have a mini-fridge stocked with guest preferences. There are no single-occupancy cabins.

There are four suites on the Silver Muse that are wheelchair accessible. They are Silver Suite and Vista Suites. These suites have wider doorframes, ramped bathroom thresholds, roll-in showers, and fold-down shower benches.

Food & Dining

Dining
Bars

The Silver Muse offers eight different restaurants with cuisine ranging from seafood, Asian, Italian, Italian, French, to Japanese. Most dining is included aboard the Silver Muse, with the exception of two specialty restaurants: Kaiseki, the Japanese restaurant, has a $40 surcharge. La Dame, the French restaurant, has a $60 surcharge. Most of the restaurants operate on a reservation system, but seafood-oriented Atlantide and Asian-fusion Indochine do not require reservations. There are multiple restaurant options for breakfast and lunch. La Terazza serves as the main buffet dining room for breakfast and lunch before transforming into an Italian restaurant for dinner. Atlantide is also open with a breakfast menu, and the casual outdoor restaurant, The Grill, is open for lunch. Throughout the day, the Arts Cafe and Spaccanapoli are both open with light bites. Twenty-four hour in-room dining is also available.

There are 10 different lounges on the Silver Muse: Panorama Lounge, Arts Cafe, Dolce Vita, Observation Library and Lounge, The Venetian Lounge, and the Connoisseur’s Corner. All drinks are included as part of the cruise price, including 60 different wines. The only exceptions are certain liquors and wines on the Connoisseur’s List.

Entertainment

Editor Rating

Voices of Silversea is the name of the talent ensemble on the Silver Muse. They put together a variety of live music performances such as opera, pop, and musical theatre. There are also a few other bands who play across the different venues throughout the evenings.

There is a small casino that has slot machines, blackjack games, roulette, and poker. The kid-friendly options are sparse on the Silver Muse, but there is a children’s room and outdoor play area. There are also events throughout the day such as educational lectures, dance classes, bingo, and golf putting tournaments.

Spa & Fitness

There are complimentary scheduled group fitness classes. Personal training and spa treatments and a private spa room are available for a fee. There is also an outdoor jogging track on deck 11.

Key cruising tips

Health & Safety

Silversea updated its Covid-19 policies on September 5, 2022. Fully vaccinated and up-to-date travelers will not be required to show evidence of a PCR or Antigen test to embark. However, destinations with specific local health regulations, including but not limited to Australia, Bermuda, Canada and Greece, may require proof of a negative test prior to boarding. Unvaccinated guests must provide proof of a negative Covid test (PCR or Antigen) taken within 72 hours of embarkation.

Dress Code

The dress code on the Silver Muse is casual during the day. After 6 p.m., the dress code is casual, informal, and formal depending on the day. Flip-flops, shorts, and jeans are not allowed in indoor venues after 6 p.m. Casual wear is accepted at all times in outdoor venues.

Junior Cruisers

Although children may sail on the Silver Muse after 6 months of age, the ship isn’t the most family-friendly. There is one children’s room, the Activities Room, with scheduled activities. Children are not permitted to stay in the children’s room while their parents are on an excursion. On excursions,  children under 8 years of age must have proper child seating equipment, which means that you may have to bring appropriate child seating to accommodate them on all excursions.

Service

All passengers receive butler service. Because the staff-to-guest ratio is so low, passengers get bespoke service and are greeted by name.

Tipping

While gratuity is included on the ship, tipping is encouraged during excursions. Guests can also tip their butler and maid as an additional show of appreciation.
