Shop Hours

Most shops close between 5 and 6 except on Thursday, famously known as the koopavond (shopping night), when the retail riots end around 9. Many shops open late on Monday, and most situated outside the city center are closed on Sunday. Also note that many shop owners go home a little early on Saturday, usually around 5. Some of the smaller shops and boutiques tend to be open only a few days a week, or only in the afternoon; to avoid disappointment, call ahead or check their websites.
