Reservations
Make reservations as far in advance as possible, especially for May, June, September, October, and around the holidays. Booking online works, but calling directly, or checking up on your online reservation, may be the easiest and most effective way to make contact and communicate your needs. Be sure to specify arrival and departure dates, room size (single or double), room type (standard, deluxe, or suite), the number of people in your party, and whether you want a bathroom with a shower or bathtub (or both). Double-check if breakfast, Internet, and taxes are included. Ask if a deposit is required and what penalties you may be liable for if you cancel. Always request a confirmation number to verify your reservation upon arrival and be sure to get a receipt sent to you via email, which makes it easy to verify that your requests have been noted in writing.
