England’s Prince Harry will be taking part in The Golden Anniversary Spectacular Mega-Concert, an event celebrating Barbados’ 50th year of independence. But Harry, who will be delivering a speech as part of his two-week Caribbean visit on behalf of Queen Elizabeth II, won’t be the only royal to take the stage for the Nov. 30 event. Singer Rihanna, born and raised Barbadian and queen of pop, will kick off the concert with a performance of the national anthem.
According to a spokesman for Prince Harry, a meeting between pop and British nobility is a matter of “we’ll wait and see.” But as it’s typical for royals to greet the performers at similar events, it’s entirely possible that Rihanna may grace Harry with her presence.
