Kuzino is a small village community that serves as a stopping-off point for visiting the nearby Kirillo Belozersky Monastery, an expansive 14th-century monastery on the banks of Lake Siverskoye. Although there are no proper restaurants on Kizhi, there are kiosks right by the ferry dock that sell coffee, soft drinks, snacks, and simple Russian meals. There are also vendors near the ferry dock that sell souvenirs and postcards. Visitors are not allowed to stay on the island overnight.
