Posada La Ermita In San Miguel de Allende, Mexico

I am going to be staying at this hotel in a few months from now. I typically ask for the top floor because I like the views. But in reading reviews it sounds like the stairs are a significant challenge. Has anyone stayed here or have suggestions about whether it’s best to have a room on the first floor or second floor? a fit senior. Thank you!

Never stayed there, but know the location. My concern, maybe more than the stairs, would be the noise from the street and pollution from the buses that constantly run in front. It's a very busy street. Might not be an issue if your room doesn't face the street. Walking to the hotel will pretty much be all uphill from the jardin area. On the upside, it's a short walk to one of my favorite restaurants, Los Milagros Terraza which has great views too.

Thank you so much! I did wonder how noisy the street would be.
