We have used taylor and taylor rentals. Their website is eleutheracarrentals.com.
We were generally happy with service. Do not expect to rent a newer car on eleuthera. Most of the rentals are kinda beat up.

If you are renting a villa/cottage, the property manager is the person to get a car from...you will get a better car from your manager than you will from a company and the "companies" are very loose. ASk your villa owner, if that is who you are in touch, about a car. Don't expect luxury! But we have always found the cars to be dependable and moderately clean.

Sorry, I forgot to include this info. We are picking the car up at North Eleuthera Airport. Staying in Rainbow Bay. I know that Governors Harbor airport is closer to Rainbow Bay; however, I could not find a decent price or arrival time at GHB when I bought the airline tickets back in June. As long as the car runs, I'm happy.

DO NOT rent from this outfit: BIG E & K'S CAR RENTALS. Kumar Bullard is a crook who will not only rent you a faulty vehicle, he will also steal your security deposit in the process. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH KUMAR BULLARD. How he is allowed to do business on the island is beyond me.
