Discrimination on Tripadvisor

Just wondering if anyone has an advice for me…

RE: Tripadvisor Travel Article

The sudden disabling of the option to create and edit Articles is unfair to some people like me!

My name was mention in that article before but it was removed with the roll back wars. Upon checking the version history, it seems 1st time joiners manage to edit & remove those drivers’ info (including mine) and add their own with fantastic descriptions! You can see they join TA just to edit the article and recommending them.

These guys are very lucky for TA disabled the edit option while their name is on top of the list before anyone could roll back or edit the article.

I feel violated. I request Tripadvisor admin to at least allow the destination expert to edit and not everyone especially the newbies. All members could make a request to a DE to get a change they've notices made so that makes it inclusive while curing the inevitable advertising inclusion some people are experiencing. I don’t get any reply from the admin but instead, they DELETE my account. Does this qualify as discrimination?

If they will not enable the edit option then it is best to delete the article for the fairness of other driver’s being removed (like mine) by this newbies.

Do you know the feeling where the law of the government applies to the poor and not the rich people? This is how I feel about this Tripadvisor.

I think there's a lot of Social Influencing going on on Trip Advisor.....due to that I'm on my 4th incarnation.

Discrimination? Come ON. I don't personally like TA, but it is their site and they can delete anyone they want . . . As can Fodors, or FlyerTalk or any other site.

Hmmmm..There's something fishy about this first and only post.
What made you direct your comments here?
The poor vs the rich?

Discrimination on TripAdvisor, a popular travel platform, can occur in various forms, such as biased reviews, prejudiced comments, or unfair treatment based on factors like race, gender, or nationality. While TripAdvisor strives to maintain a fair and inclusive platform, instances of discrimination may still arise due to individual user behavior. To address this issue, TripAdvisor has community guidelines in place to discourage discriminatory content and encourages users to report any instances they encounter. Additionally, the platform actively moderates reviews and comments to remove discriminatory content and ensure a welcoming environment for all travelers. Travelers should be vigilant and report any discriminatory behavior they encounter on TripAdvisor to help maintain a positive and inclusive community for all users.
