Caribbean cruise
I'm just after some confirmation.
I'm going on a Caribbean cruise in January and stopping at several islands including st Lucia, Barbados, Tortola & Dominican Republic.
It's not clear if we need a visa for any of these ?
I have emailed p&o but they haven't replied.
Also what currency do I take to spend on the islands ?
Thanks.

If you are a US citizen, you will not need a visa to those islands.
You may need a passport.
Are you doing a closed loop cruise from the US? If so, You may not need a passport either, but rules may have changed on that. It is highly recommended even if not required on a closed loop.

Thank you for your reply.
we are flying from the UK to join the ship at Antigua.
I've had no help at all from P&O about this.
I don't want to leave everything to the last minute & maybe have extra costs too.

Can't help with the requirements from the UK. From US we don't need any visa, but the people on the ship wanted us to have a valid passport.
On the islands we usually used a credit card or US dollars with no issues.

It does not seem like you will need a visa.
I am not sure if these islands will accept UK pounds but they do take the USD.
