Imani Bashir

Imani Bashir is a Black American Muslim expat, travel journalist, and mother of one who has lived in five countries (Egypt, Poland, China, Malaysia, and Mexico). She has been featured in publications such as The New York Times, Travel & Leisure, Business Insider, Condé Nast Traveler, and television networks, including NBC, BBC, and Fox Business, among many others. She has over a decade of experience as a traveling storyteller and has spoken on panels for conferences such as Essence Fest, Mom 2.0, Women's Travel Fest, and more. Her purpose is to be an ambassador for empowering marginalized people and creating editorial content that shifts culture in the travel industry and beyond.
