Q&A
Why do you travel?
Traveling makes us better humans! Plus the world is so beautiful and wonderful, why not travel? Also, ahem, food.
What’s one thing you never travel without?
Vitamin B patches. They’re an instant pick-me-up that save me from jetlag, early wake-up calls (after very late nights).
What’s the first thing you do when you arrive in a new place?
Find out the WiFi password...don’t judge me!
Where did you have your most unforgettable meal?
Antica Osteria Rugantino, the cacio e pepe was so good I temporarily left my body and watched me eat it from above.
What’s on your travel bucket list?
I’d love to backpack through Patagonia, swim in Bali, eat anything in Romania, and do karaoke in Tokyo!
What’s currently on your airplane playlist?
Lots of fun podcasts including Why Won’t You Date Me, You’re Wrong About and Who? Weekly.
If you could live anywhere, where would it be?
Rome!
What is your favorite time of year to travel?
Fall! A. It makes me feel like a Nancy Meyers heroine and B. There’s generally less crowds and things are usually cheaper.
What items do you always try to bring back as souvenirs?
I have a big collection of matchbooks from all over, so I always try to grab those from bars and restaurants when I can.
