Fodor's Expert Review
It's all about comfort and privacy at this award-winning, hacienda-style hotel that caters to couples and travelers with a healthy lifestyle. Guest rooms have a view of the sea and the beautiful white-sand beach. A few steps above the main bedroom, guest quarters have bathrooms with whirlpool bathtubs. The list of complimentary perks is endless: luxury bath products, international phone calls, spa access, cooking classes, dance lessons, morning yoga, a personal nutrition expert, laundry service, a stocked minibar (top-shelf alcohol), and discounted greens fees, to name a few. At all the restaurants and bars, menus list healthy options and caloric intake, and the gym is well equipped. The Ultimate Golf Package includes a complimentary massage with a four-night stay. Golfers are well taken care of at this genteel property, as are, increasingly, wedding parties. The staff here is notable for its hospitality and attentiveness.

What's Nearby
Getting Around
Walking is possible to neighboring resorts at Cabo Real, but to little else at this coastal resort set just off the Tourist Corridor highway. Public bus service is easily available to cape cities Cabo San Lucas and San José del Cabo, but taxi service or rental cars are the preferred transportation options for regional explorations.
Restaurants
Chef Thierry Dufour’s Canto del Mar at nearby Marquis Los Cabos (1-mile drive along the Carretera Transpeninsular, at Km 21.5) is one of the few French restaurants in Los Cabos, and serves up four-course continental cuisine nightly. Another French chef, Fabrice Guisset, specializes instead in Mexican cuisine at El Restaurante, the simply named signature restaurant at next door luxury resort, Las Ventanas al Paraíso.
