Bus Travel
Buses are generally less popular than trains, though they're sometimes faster and cheaper. Madrid has no central bus station: most destinations south and east of Madrid are serviced by the Estación del Sur, while Intercambiador de Moncloa and Estación de Avenida de América service northern destinations. All have eponymous metro stops (except for Estación del Sur, serviced by Méndez Álvaro).
Blue city buses (€1.50 one-way) run about 6 am–11:30 pm. Less frequent night buses run through the night on heavily trafficked routes.
