Boat Travel

Positano and Amalfi can be reached by ferry service. To get to smaller towns, make arrangements with private boat companies or independent fishermen recommended by the tourist office or your hotel. Ferries operated by Travelmar and Gescab serve Positano, Amalfi, Salerno, Sorrento, Capri, and other locations within the region. Tickets can be purchased at booths on piers and docks. Ferry service generally only runs from late spring through the beginning of November.
